Job Description
Hematology/Oncology Physician We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hematology/Oncology Physician to join a dynamic cancer care team in southeast Alabama. This position offers the opportunity to work in a comprehensive environment that supports both inpatient and outpatient care, with a strong emphasis on collaborative practice and patient-centered treatment. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive Hematology and Oncology care in both clinical and hospital settings. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including radiation oncologists and surgical specialists, to ensure integrated patient care. Engage in tumor board discussions, participate in treatment planning, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Oversee infusion therapies and coordinate services with on-site radiation therapy. Schedule Maintain a Monday–Friday schedule, typically from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Participate in a shared call rotation, typically 1:4 with colleagues. Board certification or eligibility in Hematology/Oncology. Hold or be eligible for a medical license in Alabama, along with DEA registration.
