Diesel Mechanic Opportunities Sign-On Bonus Available: Up to $7,500 A well-established fleet operation is hiring A and B-Level Diesel Mechanics to support the maintenance and repair of their fleet of hauling trucks and equipment. This role offers steady work, growth opportunities, and exposure to a wide range of mechanical systems. Responsibilities: Perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles, mostly hauling vehicles Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems Complete inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety standards Respond to service calls and assist with on-site repairs Support senior mechanics with larger or more complex jobs Address items noted during vehicle inspections Document repairs, parts used, and labor time Maintain a clean and safe work environment Requirements: High school diploma or GED plus at least 3 years of Diesel/ Hydraulic mechanical repair experienceor four years of related heavy equipment or Class A & B Diesel Vehicle maintenance experience Valid driver’s license Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Physical Requirements: Ability to use tools requiring fine motor skills Frequent standing, reaching, climbing, and working at heights Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds What’s Offered: Competitive pay and industry-leading benefits Multiple medical plan options Strong PTO program and floating holidays 401(k) with company match Tuition and student loan assistance Scholarship programs for dependents Paid parental leave Supportive, inclusive work culture
