Job Description

This group is seeking a Chemical Engineer to conduct and coordinate polymer synthesis experiments in support of process research and product development efforts. The work will be carried out both in a modern laboratory environment as well as in a scale-up facility with the objective of developing new products and improving existing manufacturing processes. Additional Requirements * BS in Chemical Engineering with relevant polymer experience* Knowledge of reactor design and control software* Demonstrated aptitude for working with mechanical equipment such as mixers and reactors* Ability to interact with a diverse group of associates* Experience in conducting design of experiments and statistical analysis of data* Strong interpersonal and presentation skills required* Must work well in a team environmentTasks * Facilitate initial scale-up efforts of targeted new polymer products or chemical processes* Conduct process chemistry research to develop and improve manufacturing practices* Provide plant support and product stewardship* Actively participate in a multi-disciplinary team* Utilize analytical techniques pertaining to polymer characterization such as RPA, Mooney &This group is seeking a Chemical Engineer to conduct and coordinate polymer synthesis experiments in support of process research and product development efforts.
