Maintenance Manager Newton, IowaMonday–Thursday | 6:00AM–4:30PM Our manufacturing client near Newton, IA is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance and electrical functions in a high-production environment. This is a leadership role responsible for maximizing equipment uptime, driving preventative maintenance strategy, and maintaining plant availability above 90%. The ideal candidate will balance technical expertise with team development and safety leadership. What You’ll Be Responsible For: Leading all mechanical and electrical maintenance operations Driving preventative and corrective maintenance strategy Managing capital projects, budgeting, parts inventory, and purchasing Ensuring MSHA and safety compliance across maintenance functions Developing and empowering maintenance team members Utilizing KPIs to improve reliability and operational performance Maintaining plant uptime and operational efficiency What We’re Looking For: 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance leadership experience Strong troubleshooting ability (mechanical and electrical systems) Experience reading schematics and isolating equipment issues Knowledge of shop mechanics and industrial equipment operations Ability to lead through accountability, communication, and culture-building Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience) Environment: Manufacturing facility operating 3 shifts May require coverage outside normal hours Industrial setting with typical plant conditions This is an excellent opportunity for a maintenance leader who wants to make a measurable impact on plant reliability, safety culture, and team development.
