REMOTE
Our client, a nationally recognized law firm, is seeking an experienced Employment Special Counsel to join its sophisticated Labor & Employment practice, focusing exclusively on Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI) matters. This fully remote, full-time role offers the opportunity to work with a highly regarded employment litigation team handling complex, high-stakes matters for prominent clients across multiple jurisdictions.
Candidate Profile
JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
Active Bar Admission in state of residence, in good standing
8+ years of substantive in employment litigation, with a strong emphasis on EPLI matters
Significant experience handling employment-related claims, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and wrongful termination matters
Proven ability to manage EPLI cases from inception through resolution
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong advocacy and client-facing capabilities
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating effectively with a national team
Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment when handling highly sensitive and confidential matters
Key Responsibilities
Handle a full caseload of EPLI matters, including litigation, mediation, and pre-litigation counseling
Represent insureds and insurers in employment-related disputes across state and federal forums
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement documentation with a high level of precision and strategic insight
Advise clients on employment law risk management and litigation strategy
Collaborate with attorneys and firm professionals nationwide on complex employment matters
Maintain strict compliance with ethical obligations and firm policies regarding confidentiality and sensitive information

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive Salary Range: $150,000 – $240,000 annually, commensurate with experience, geographic location, and qualifications, plus eligibility for performance-based bonuses
