Psychiatrist
Compensation: $230K - $280K per year + Comprehensive Benefits Package
Job Type: Full-time, Monday - Friday, in-person
Location: Pittsburg, PA
We are seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to provide high-quality, patient-centered psychiatric care in a community health center setting. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive mental health services while supporting coordinated, cost-effective care across the patient lifecycle. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, detail-oriented, and committed to serving a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment
Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care
Demonstrate strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with patients and staff
Apply sound clinical judgment and problem-solving skills in complex situations
Support quality improvement initiatives and operational processes
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
Active Pennsylvania medical license (or ability to obtain)
Experience in community health or similar clinical setting preferred
Strong knowledge of mental health best practices, clinical protocols, and accreditation standards
Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively in urgent situations
Proficiency with EMR systems and general computer applications
