COMMERCIAL LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY Location: Hartford, CT HYBRID Our client, a prominent AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney with litigation experience to join its Hartford office supporting its commercial litigation practice. This opportunity is ideal for a junior associate who is eager to develop a broad-based litigation practice within a collaborative, high-performance law firm environment. The role offers hands-on experience handling matters in both state and federal courts, with meaningful responsibility and direct client interaction. Candidate Profile JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record Active Bar Admission in Connecticut, in good standing 1-3 years of substantive commercial litigation experience Experience handling litigation matters in state and federal courts within a law firm setting Exposure to employment law–related issues is a plus, but not required Judicial clerkship experience is valued, though not mandatory Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Demonstrated commitment to client service, professionalism, and high-quality work product Key Responsibilities Handle sophisticated commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts across Connecticut Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery materials and other litigation-related documents Participate in depositions, hearings, and court proceedings as experience allows Conduct legal research and support case strategy development Support all phases of case management, including strategy development and trial preparation Work closely with senior litigators on complex disputes with high-profile clients Why Join Us?
