Cardiologist Physician Join a dynamic healthcare team as a full-time Cardiologist in the heart of Southwest Georgia. This opportunity invites a dedicated professional to work in a 155-bed community-based teaching hospital renowned for its commitment to medical excellence and patient care. Position Highlights: Role: We are seeking both non-invasive and invasive general cardiologists. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM, with balanced clinic and cath lab duties. Patient Load: Manage 14-20 patients daily in the clinic; hospital patient numbers vary. Call Duty: Required 7 days per month, shared with fellow cardiologists; additional pay for extra calls. Education: Opportunity to mentor medical students and residents. Compensation and Benefits: Salary: Competitive and experience-based, with a 3% annual cost-of-living adjustment. Stress tests, cardiac CT and MRI, and carotid studies. Requirements: Completion or upcoming completion of cardiology fellowship. Board-certified or board certification eligible, with a requirement to obtain certification within 5 years if eligible. Hold a Georgia Medical License or participate in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
