K. Jacobs Executive Search is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Science & Technology practice of a respected consulting engineering firm. This is a leadership role for an accomplished engineer who can take projects from concept through construction. You will design and oversee high-performance mechanical systems — including air, water, and plant systems — and provide technical direction on detailed design and documentation. The role is client-facing, requiring strong judgment and the ability to manage relationships while mentoring junior staff. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) license 12–15 years of experience with mechanical design in building systems, ideally including labs, research, pharmaceutical, or high-tech facilities Strong technical expertise across HVAC, utilities, and infrastructure systems Demonstrated leadership and communication skills Why This Role?
