EMPLOYMENT LITIGATION – ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Our client, a prominent Amlaw 50 global law firm, is seeking a talented Employment Litigation Associate Attorney to join its dynamic and fast-growing practice as a 3rd-5th year associate. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile single-plaintiff matters, systemic discrimination cases, wage and hour class actions, internal investigations, and complex advisory issues affecting major employers across industries.
Candidate Profile
JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
Active Bar Admission in New York, in good standing
2+ years of substantive litigation experience
Experience handling single-plaintiff employment litigation, wage and hour matters, and/or class or collective actions
Strong written advocacy skills, including drafting motions, briefs, and pleadings
Ability to manage discovery, take and defend depositions, and support trial preparation
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and clients
Highly motivated, creative, practical, and capable of working both independently and in a team environment
Strong interpersonal skills and sound professional judgment
Key Responsibilities
Work on pre-litigation matters, high-profile single-plaintiff cases, systemic discrimination claims, and wage and hour class and collective actions
Respond to agency charges and handle related administrative matters
Conduct internal investigations for corporate clients
Counsel clients on a broad range of employment law issues
Draft briefs, motions, discovery responses, and other litigation documents
Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and appear in court
Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and strategy development for complex cases
Collaborate with attorneys across practices to deliver coordinated and strategic client support

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive Salary: Expected annual base salary ranges from $260,000 to $390,000, as determined by experience and market factors
