Director of Strategy & Business Development (Private Equity Focus)Remote | Full-Time | U.S.-Based Candidates Only A global consulting firm is seeking a high-energy, research-driven business development professional to support growth efforts across mid-market and large Private Equity firms. This is a strategic, high-visibility role supporting senior BD leaders by identifying, researching, and qualifying C-level targets, particularly within private equity firms and their portfolio companies. Key Responsibilities: Research and identify key decision-makers across PE firms and industry targets using CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and public data sources Maintain CRM records with accurate firmographic, contact, and opportunity data Generate insights to support outreach campaigns and account strategy Collaborate with BD leaders to refine target lists and track progress Support document creation, outreach tracking, and follow-up activity Ideal Background: 3+ years in a business development, sales research, or lead generation role Experience supporting or selling into private equity, investment banking, consulting, or B2B SaaS/data providers Strong communication, organization, and research skills Proficiency with CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics 365) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator Bachelor’s degree required; business or finance background preferred This is a remote position with a competitive salary and bonus structure.
