Job Description
Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year

Location
Lakewood, Colorado. This is an on site role with the opportunity to move into a hybrid schedule after about 1 year, based on performance and business needs.
Note:
You must be licensed to practice law in Colorado and bring 7+ years of district court trial experience and or an insurance defense background.

Job Description
Manage district court litigation (with some county and administrative matters) through all phases including evaluation, intake, discovery, settlement, trial, and appeal
Handle matters often involving breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, FHAA complaints, covenant enforcement, judicial foreclosures, and other real estate related disputes
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other high quality legal writing product
Conduct legal research and develop practical case strategy and recommendations
Communicate directly with clients and respond to status inquiries with urgency and clarity
Meet with clients as needed and represent them professionally in hearings, conferences, mediations, and trials
Participate in business development activities and help deepen long term client relationships
Maintain consistent and on time attendance and operate with strong ownership and follow through
Qualifications
Active Colorado bar license and good standing
7+ years of district court trial experience and or an insurance defense background
Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle competing deadlines in a fast paced environment
Excellent oral and written communication and high attention to detail
Confident, tactful, and professional with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders
Strong computer skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
English proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing
