Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer with deep experience in fluid power systems (hydraulics and pneumatics) to support customer applications, product integration, and technical solution development. This role bridges engineering and customer-facing functions, ensuring optimal system performance and successful implementation of engineered solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the technical lead for customer applications involving hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Collaborate with sales and customers to define system requirements and recommend optimal solutions
Design, specify, and support integration of fluid power components and systems (valves, pumps, actuators, manifolds, etc.)
Provide troubleshooting and performance optimization for existing systems
Support product selection, sizing, and validation for custom and standard applications
Assist in prototype development, testing, and system validation
Create technical documentation, application notes, and customer-facing materials
Work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
5–10+ years of experience in fluid power systems (hydraulics and/or pneumatics)
Strong knowledge of:
Hydraulic circuit design and analysis
Pneumatic control systems
Fluid dynamics and system troubleshooting
Experience with component selection and system integration
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications
Hands-on experience with testing, validation, and field support
Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with customers
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with mobile hydraulics, industrial automation, or motion control systems
Familiarity with CAD tools and simulation software
Knowledge of industry standards and safety requirements related to fluid power systems
