LABOR & EMPLOYMENT ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Location: New York, NY
HYBRID (4 days/week in-office)
Our client, a prominent AmLaw 100 international law firm, is seeking a talented junior to mid-level Associate Attorney to join their premier Labor & Employment Group in New York. This role offers the opportunity to represent a dynamic client base in complex labor and employment (L&E) litigation and handle sophisticated transactional employment work.
Candidate Profile
JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
Active Bar Admission in New York, in good standing (NJ/PA/CT bar admissions a plus)
2–5 years of substantive employment litigation experience
Background in advising clients on employment-related aspects of transactions
Demonstrated experience drafting key legal documents, handling discovery, depositions, motions, pleadings, and trial preparation
Highly proficient in prioritization and able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
Strong legal writing and negotiation skills, along with a high sense of urgency
Ability to work efficiently within a team-focused, high-performance environment
Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and maintaining strong professional relationships
Key Responsibilities
Manage employment litigation matters from inception through resolution
Conduct due diligence review, handle discovery and depositions, and contribute to trial preparation
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents
Advise clients on transactional employment matters
Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop litigation strategy
Maintain clear, client-ready communication and deliver practical guidance
Balance competing priorities in a fast-paced practice

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive Salary: Expected annual base salary range is $225,000-$295,000, as determined by experience and market factors
