Maintenance Coordinator/Maintenance Scheduler Affiliated Recruiters Network Newton, Iowa, United States (On-site) Save Apply Maintenance Scheduler – Heavy Manufacturing | Newton, IA (On-Site) Our manufacturing client in Newton, IA is seeking a Maintenance Scheduler to bring structure, discipline, and forward planning to a busy, asset-intensive operation. This role sits at the intersection of maintenance execution, preventive planning, materials coordination, and procurement. If you’ve worked in a plant where uptime matters and PMs can’t slip, you’ll recognize the impact this position has. What you’ll do Own preventive maintenance scheduling and work order planning Partner with Maintenance and Plant leadership to improve equipment uptime and PM completion Manage parts planning, storeroom controls, and min/max inventory levels Coordinate purchasing, vendor quotes, POs, and inbound materials Track KPIs, costs, and trends tied to maintenance effectiveness Close work orders, validate completion, and support continuous improvement efforts What fits best Background in a manufacturing maintenance environment Experience with maintenance planning/scheduling or TPM Comfort working across maintenance, operations, purchasing, and suppliers Strong Excel and systems skills (CMMS / maintenance planning tools) Organized, self-directed, and comfortable working on-site in a fast-paced plant Schedule Monday–Thurday 6:00am-3:30pm (occasional extended coverage as needed) Frequent 3 day weekends!
